we purchased single phase mono block pump on friday 07/07/2012 evening & the same was fixed on monday 10/07/2012, after fixing the same to the pipe connections the motor did not function. The same was informed to the dealer in Hosur & was asked to bring the motor to the show room, the same was then moved to the service center & after examining the same I was informed that the coil of the same was burnt & was told to pay Rs. 500.00 for replacing the coil & Rs. 1000.00 for replacing the motor. Normally there is an electrical fumes smell when the motor coil is burnt, the same was not there. Hence the motor must have been defective at the time of delivery.
