Please be alert of a fake job scam offer in the name of HomeStay : Euro Highway Hotels
Recently there was an add in the Bengaluru TOI paper for lots of work opportunities in
Norway in hotels advertised at www.eurohighwayhotels.com Actually one look at the
website and you can spot it’s a fake, however this is for those innocent brothers and
sisters in India who are desperate and innocent. Anyway,I emailed them my CV on email
address [email protected] and did not get a reply. When I called
them on the mobile number 7338810356, one old sounding man answers and on finding out
he told his name was Shashidhar and was talking from Chennai.He says he is the sole
agent in India who was hiring for this company. When I asked him about the job and
told him that I had applied, he does one drama of asking you if you received the call
letter from the company. When I told him no, his drama will continue by him promising
you that he will talk to the company for you again and he will ask you to resend you
CV. Within a few hours I received the offer letter from them with a post of Admin
Sales Manager (attached herewith), salary of 2500 euros a month, free stay and meals
in Norway and whole lot of perks. All this without an interview and submitting
documents!! Be careful his letter is very professional looking. After this he starts
calling you to say you have to hurry as the company will otherwise hire someone else
and rushes you to pay Rs.50,000/- as visa fee while in offer letter it says free visa.
His another trick is to say the candidate has a choice of processing Norway visa from
a travel agent which costs 8 lakhs but if the company does it, they just charge
Rs.50,000/-
