I recieved a call letter from heading “Larsen & Toubro Limited” From:”[email protected]” mail and to address mentioned “You And”. I think some one send to me the offer letter. Still i am not belive this type of call letter because there are no mentioned what i have applied in L&T company position. Venue details not properly and mainly Rs.8800 cash need to send before attend the interview after salary is Rs.29000 to Rs.94000, paid amount last date is 06/12/2012 but today only i recieved the mail and a/c details are not mentioned.name are mentione us Dr.B.S. Nayak. The same name of person has worked in L$T Chairman. It’s very seriously take any neccessary action immedialty. Every body alert…. for FAKE email.

This is ridiculous. Another relative of mine also received such a letter and were about to make the payment. Fortunately, I saw this posting and stopped them. Thanks for posting it. Is there a way to inform Police so that they could trace these guys?

Dear all,

This happened with me also but the date of deposite was 4th Dec for me.

After receving the mail I contacted on the number provided but after taking to him, I was sure that he was not HR Manager.(He was nt able to speak english properly & his behaviour was weired)

Be aware of such mails & fools like this one.

So i call to person ‘Dr. B.S. Nayak’ as given in pdf file, but that mobile no was not existing.

I have a word with mr nayak about this, but he is not able to replay/answer of my questions properly. Pls beware of this kind of persons who are making froud like this. Before this i have received a mail about Maruti Suziki’s call letter, in which they have asked to deposit Rs. 15,800 per candidate for cunducting this type of froud interviewes. Please beware of this type of e-mails……………….

dosto mujhe bhi aap logo jaisa hi mail mila, pehli bar to me bhi shocked ho gaya, lekin confirmation karne ke liye google pe dr. bs nayak ka naam dala to consumerforum ka link mila. isse mujhe pata chala ki mujhe fake mail mila he.

hay all guys don’t transfer money to this fraud B.S. Nayak. I’m working in a MNC and L&T is doing a project here. I talked with the senior officer of L&T and confirmed from him that he is a total fraud person asking money from candidate and ruining company’s name. I’m on a process of taking legal action on that person with the help of L&T officers.

i have received same type of mail with offering a job interview in L & T and to deposit Rs. 8700.00 as security money. so everybody should be aware for this because it is a fraud case since L & T never ask for any money either for interview or for appointment letter.

it is requested to the concerned authority including the management of the L & T, please take sheer action against this type of fraud case.

The name of the person who has sent the letter is Mr. S. K. Srivastava, Tel.: 91 7669742858 & Email ID: [email protected] and date of interview as mentioned is 25-02-2012 in Mumbai.

Everyone knows that this mail is a fake mail. I am not telling to anyone in person but to all , as you all are educated you should know that these are fake mail made by fraudsters. Please be aware and use your brains. If anyone has already paid the money then go to police and lodge a police complaint. As simple as that. I too received the same letter yesterday. It has an auto generated mail message too through fake ID provided in the letter. Seems so authentic even if unbelievable.

They r written as u r selected as a member of our unit and ur code is (L&T-062). U r called 4 interview on 20-09- 2013. Before u hv to paid rs 9450 which was refundable. So please,check everything,dont get traped.there is no company providing free air tickets for an interview,its our need na,why are they giving a hob finding us….so please dont get cheated.proove u r educated…and u should also note that nobody is going to provide u a starting sal of arnd 100k which these frauds offer….try for a good job.may god bless you,jai hind

This is ridicuolus that in these day my inbox get full of this type of fake mails.I dont understand why naukari,monster or other job searching site doese not varify before sharing resume of candidate to this type of fraud people.I also dont understand why there is no such a strict law in india to against this type of fraud people.They people are looting poor people those who are not aware of this type of fraud people.Be aware guys dont pay a single ruppes to them they fraud people only know to make fool to the poor people,why they dont earn mony by working hard instead of making fool to the people.Shame on these fraud people.

In this mail they didn’t informed about any charges but after calling on the num provided in the mail, they informed to pay 3000rs for the medical check up.
While asking him more about this he told me that every employee of the l&t pay this charge.
I got understand refuse to go for the interview.

The main point is that they got the exact name as the HR team is live working in the Company. That makes so doubtful.

Need to improve more privacy of the company in L&T.

On 14th Jan 2016 i received this L&T confidential interview letter and demanded for Rs 8790, which is to be deposited to PNB Bank before 2.00 PM having account no 4038000100178440. I am not kn owing about it. So i deposited the amount in hurry.
So what should i do now to recover that amount. The person to which i was co-ordinating was Yashwant Makhija and his mobile no is +919761797746.

Hi.. I got two different interview letter in consecutive working days from two diffrent fake LnT email id..

Have you guys file any FIR. I want to catch these cheaters. I need help from all of you.
I was aware that this call letter is fraud, but started taking with them and asked for his account number to find the person. He gave me his account number.
What I hv seen that all call from Delhi NCR. All account number given by them are from Ghaziabad … Kindly write mail to CBI to find these fraud guys.
Now I have lot of information regarding these cheaters. I hav file an FIR against them.

then manager again call and asked me to pay again 21000 then I doubt he makes fully fraud

I have received the same call letter.first I am really shocked.they(L&T) chosen me for interview for the post of assistant manager. I really wondered that,how can I get that job with my +2 qualification.
And at last I replied”first you give me the job,I’ll pay double you asked…..
Suddenly a mail received saying that permanent delivery problem with that mail address.
Guyz please don’t believe in these types of mails.I think there is a big gang behind these fake mails

Hai Guys,

I too got the same mail. I did reply stating that I am willing to pay the said amount of Rs. 8,800/- without any delay, but subject to that they have to give interview seriousness deposit of Rs.10,000/- the full amount would be refunded on Day 1 at Larson and Turbo Limited. That was the end of the fraudster, he never replied back.

Hi, We also got similar email and considering poor english language we suspected this… I sent an email to CBI and also to L & T management about this… Fortunately in L & T website they have already mentioned about such fraudulent emails. Will keep this forum updated if any action is taken…

Friends today I also get call letter from L & T, in call letter they mention that u r selected in 95 batch and the vacancies are 75. They mention in call that u should pay 9850 Rs in uco or syndicate bank. Before some time I talked on number given in call letter he said that, I am busy call me later.
So friend what should I do, please suggest me. Today date is last for payment and interview is on 14 April at Chennai.

He said that ” you have to deposit security money 8900/- for Interview process, accommodation fee . These wil be refundbule on the day of interview so please deposit to this account details:-

IFSC CODE-CBIN0280258″ after deposited money. I have known it is fraud. So please help me how to get my money back..

I too got the same letter from join@larsentoubroindia. They asked to pay 8500 in their account… Hear is the clarification prove that it is a fraud call letter.

Clarification in Public Interest:
L&T’s Recruitment Process
It has been brought to our attention that certain unscrupulous elements are
sending out false emails purporting to be from Larsen & Toubro Limited (“L&T”).
The emails ask the recipient to appear for a face-to-face interview for a job
opening with L&T and to deposit a certain amount as a refundable interview
security in a designated bank account. The emails are falsely stated to be from
officials of the HR Department of L&T.
L&T has not sent out any such emails. Please note that L&T, as a policy, does
not collect any money as a pre-employment requirement. L&T and its affiliate
companies bear no responsibility for amounts being deposited / withdrawn
therefrom in response to such emails.
These communications may carry the ID or domain name of L&T (or a deceptively
similar name) to make it look authentic. L&T is taking appropriate steps to tackle
the issue.
As a vigilant jobseeker, please look out for the following pointers to identify the
fraudulent emails:
 L&T does not ask for any money from the candidate at any stage of the recruitment
process
 A fraudulent email may mention the bank account number of an individual
or
the account details would be given upon calling up on the number mentioned in the
fraudulent mail. In any case the bank account would not be in the name of “Larsen
& Toubro Ltd.”
 L&T letters will address job applicants with proper salutations including the last
name (not with generic greetings)
 Please check if you receive calls from the L&T registered numbers or from a
private number
We advise candidates not to respond to any fraudulent emails and not to make any
