I planned to open a Cafe (Coffee Shop) in Kengeri – Uttarahalli Main road & was looking for best interior designer & posted the my requirement ad in Just Dial & other websites. VR Interior contacted me & gave the presentation on how they design & execute the interior work at the best. They gave the total estimate on 15th Jan’18 for Rs. 6.61,300 Lakhs + Tax (For interior work, painting, electrical work & kitchen equipment’s). I was impressed & confirmed the order over email on 19th Jan’18 with the condition to complete the work early by month end.
Below are few observation I shared with the Vendor for your reference
Advance amount of Rs. 2 Lakhs paid is more for the work executed, that to its imperfect so i had to ask them to stop the work on 7th Feb’18.
There were so many lags in work execution.
Practically they took more than 2 weeks to finish the interior works which could be done within a week.
Electrical wiring & switch boards fixing done is very cheap work.
Carpentry person was coming very late in the morning & I informed Raghav many times, I also complaint about the shop shutter was opened whole night, which is unacceptable. don’t know how they were managing the labor & work.
Even after giving the target date to finish the job so i can start my cafe it took more time to finish a small job, where as i procured all the kitchen equipment’s myself.
Finally, I had to get re-work for the electrical & painting from new vendors on 14 – 16th Feb’18
I end up paying the 15 days rental for January & February month without starting a business & earned a rupee, I could open my Cafe business on 18th Feb.
Interior wood work executed by VR Interiors is incomplete & its looking shabby now, I’m still using it as it is without investing for repair since I’ve spent more money before & waste of time
Now, Raghav from VR Interior is demanding more money for the cheap & worst job he has done. where as I’ve re-invested for re-work done for most of the things & asked to refund Rs.35000 out of Rs.2.00 Lakhs advance paid. But he indirectly warning me mentioning his influence with politics & media.
