Erroneous settlement of accidental claim

Location/place: Panchkula (Haryana)

Name of company/service: Royal Sundaram General Insurance

My car(Ford Figo, Reg No. HR03M1522) was insured with Royal Sundaram General Insurance(Policy No. VPC0287638000100), for the period of 26th December 2010 to 25th December 2011. My car met with an accident in August 2011. I got it repaired(from Daisy Ford, Hisar, Haryana) in September and received the claim settlement in November. However one of the parts(a hinge costing Rs.767) which was in the workshop’s invoice(at sl. no. 8 ) and also in insurance company’s surveyor’s report(at sl. no. 13) but was not there in the settlement which I received. Also, they have not given me surcharge on parts, which has been charged by ford workshop. Insurance company tells me that surcharge on parts is not applicable while workshop people(Daisy Ford Hisar, Haryana) tell me that surcharge on parts is applicable in Haryana. I have repeatedly followed these issues with Royal Sundaram Northern Region Claims office over phone and e-mail, but they are only delaying the matter. I request Justice to be done.
