EMI option not extended by Indiatimes – full amount deducted without confirmation

WORSE SERVICE / CUSTOMER COMPLAINT RESPONSE FROM INDIATIMES SHOPPING..

I AM PUSRSUING THEM FOR THE LAST 20 DAYS BUT TO NO AVAIL…

BEWARE – NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM INDIATIMES SHOPPING…

In nutshell I have purchased one Samsung Galaxy phone for Rs 25,108/- on 23 May 12 on EMI option by HDFC bank Credit Card.

Now the problem is that the EMI option was not extended to me even after writing emails and numerous phone calls to Indiatimes customer care number.

I AM HARASSED BEYOND COMPARE AND AS THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM INDIATIMES I AM FORCED TO WRITE IN CONSUMER FORUM FOR RESOLUTION….

On 30th May 12, I received a call from indiatimes finance that we have checked the case & the issue will be resolved in next 2-3 days with EMI option will be extended to you.

But it never happened and then again I called inidatimes on 5th June 12 and was told that by 7th Jun12 it will resolved for sure 100% and there is no chance of missing this dead line. For precaution I have taken the call reference number also (Call ref no. 150699 Dt 5 June 12).

But it doesn’t resolved till date and now when I am contacting indiatimes the person is saying that we can not extend this service to you as you have selected icici bank while making payment, now somebody make me understand when I am holding a HDFC CC why on earth I will select ICICI bank ??????

I am using net for shopping since a long time and on various websites but the experience with INDIATIMES is worse with ZERO focus on customer satisfaction (forget it ) even basic query resolution.

In todays’ call also he has asked that ‘hope u r satisfied with our service’ regardless of my negative reply he kept on saying thanks and all blah blah….THIS WAS THE MOST INSENSITIVE CUSTOMER CARE REPLY I HAVE HEARD…….

INDIATIMES IS CHANGING STATEMENTS EVERY TIME AND IN THE END I AM LEFT WITH A OPTION OF WRITING THE MATTER TO OPERATION HEAD….

THERE IS NO SERVICE ASSURANCE KIND OF THING AND NOBODY IS WILLING TO COME ONLINE FOR HEARING MY PROBLEM AND LEFT THE OPTION OF SPEAKING TO CC EXEC WITH TEMPLATE RESPONSES..

PL LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND RESOLVE IT ASAP AS YOU HAVE ALREADY PASSED EVERY DEADLINE..

EVEN THE OPERATION HEAD HAD NOT REVERTED ON MY EMAIL INSPITE OF REPEATED REMINDERS…
