I had booked at OYO16936 – Champion Orchid Bangalore for 11th and 12th of November 2018. Booking reference – MRBD 0172. This first time experience turned out to be a nightmare. I was with my family and arrived from Goa at 7.15 on the morning and was blatantly and rudely denied check in saying there are no rooms available. I had confirmed the twice with the hotel reception once, soon after booking and second time just before leaving Goa on the 10th. I also confirmed that I would be arriving at 8.00 am and accepted thier early check in charges of Rs.199/-. Worse was the attitude of the receptionist who said he can’t do anything, and instead of apologising he has the audacity to tell me not to create a scene. Even when I contacted the oyo customer centre he didn’t provide the room.
I had specifically booked the hotel close to PES University so that we could meet my daughter who studies there and spend some time with her. But it turned out to be a harrowing experience. The OYO service guy then booked another hotel which was 16kms away from PES University. My first time experience with OYO has been very disappointing and has left a bad taste of my self respect hurt and of having put my family in trouble, that too after arriving from Goa after a long train journey. I hold OYO responsible for this and would like to know what action are you going to take on the hotel – OYO 16936 – ‘Champion Orchid’. Will await for your response or I will be forced take this up with legal forums.
