Denial of services against Complaint Number DEL2414 by Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Limited

Dear Sir,

On April 19, 2012 Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Limited refilled GAS in my AC . At the time of placing the complaint their executive told me that it will be covered under 1 year warranty ( The same can be check from the recording available with the company). Also at that time one executive told me it will cost 2500. But to my shock the authorized person who came for the servicing demanded 3600. The matter was sorted on follow up with customer care.

The problem again emerged in my AC in the first week of July 2012 and I placed the complaint in customer care on 10 July 2012 for which I received Complaint number DEL2414. Their executive at the desk told me that the warranty for Gas refilling is not for 1 year but for 6 months. I am even willing to accept the same. Then on 11 July 2012 person approached from the authorized dealer of Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Limited and denied to do the servicing explaining that the warranty is for 3 months only??? (Again misleading), it is also acceptable to me under the current situation as the warranty have still not lapsed (Date of First Complaint April 19, 2012 and Date of re-placing the complaint 10 July 2012). The authorized dealer demanded that the same will be rectified on paid basis which clearly breach of what I have been committed by the company.

I explained the whole thing to their customer care people and even spoken to some senior executive Ms. Chanda. She spoken to the authorized dealer and replied that the authorized dealer will service the problem on paid basis as there is some problem with the area. Now their many issues which need their explanation

• The service is still under the warranty
• The same is committed by their executives while taking up the matter
• Why if there was any issue with the area the same was not explained to me while taking up the complaint on April 19, 2012
• Why I have to be on the mercy of the Authorized Dealer / Service agent while the same was committed by Carrier.
• I assume that I am paying for this services to the Carrier and not to the Authorized Agent.
You are requested to kindly take up the matter with the concerned company
