Name of company/service: Flipkart
I stay in bangalore and I had ordered a book from flipkart on 30th may. The order ID is OD20530210264. The book was not delivered to me within 8 working days as mentioned on the site.
When I started chasing the customer care, they DID not appear unfazed by the delay and just apologized. I also registered complaints twice on flipkart’s website. The customer care kept on making false commitments about when the package will be truly delivered. When the shipment finally arrived in delhi, the customer care guy promised that it will reach bangalore next day but next day when I enquired, the package was still pending in delhi’s warehouse. I escalated this to a supervisor who promised to give me a call after 4 o clock the same day to update about the status of the shipment. When nobody called up after 4 o clock, I called the customer care back. The supervisor with whom I had talked in the morning had already left.
The next supervisor assured me to take the ownership of the matter. On 14th june, I was promised that book would be delivered to me latest by 16th. Today I called twice but customer care has no clue if it should be delivered today or on Monday. I am very frustrated and agonized by the way customer care is handling my issue. The book was supposed to be a gift to someone and now the date has passed and I still don’t have any clue if I will get my book. I am tired of repeatedly chasing the customer care.
Please help me out.
