Delay in New Post Paid number activation

Location/place: Pune

Name of company/service: Tata Docomo

This is in complaint in undue delay in activation of a new post paid connection. The complaint made to the company is mentioned below as attachment is not getting uploaded.

This is in complaint against your entire sales and service team of your Tata Docomo company store situated on F C Road, Near IDBI bank, Dyaneshwar Paduka Chowk, Pune.
I am sorry to say that the entire staffs of your sales team and store manager are LIARS, IGNORANT and SHOULD BE KICKED OUT of the store immediately.
This comes into light after my experience to buy a post-paid connection from the store.
I went to the store on 31st May and purchased a SIM card for the mentioned number and submitted the documents of Photo, Driving License and Current residential rent agreement as proof of residence.

The sales desk executive Mr. Manoj promises me that the connection will start working in 3 days.

A day later the same sales executive calls up demanding Rs. 300 towards activation fees to which he was ignorant at the time of sale and immediately wanted me to pay. I paid the same in cash a 4th June and demanded a receipt for the same. The receipt was refused and it was told to me verbally by your store manager that the said activation fee will get deducted in installments of Rs 100 from my post paid bill 4th month onwards. Again she (the so called store manager) promises that the number will be active in next 3 days. She also gives me the phone number of Mr. Manoj 9860627404 to be contacted in case of any problem.

Two days later I get a call from the same guy now demanding the customer number of the electricity bill of my rented accommodation, to which I say that I was not carrying that in person and the same can be verified by whoever visits the address given for verification. To which the guy answers that I shall give a call the next day to note it down on phone. Another day goes by he doesn’t call. Then I revert back on the given cell number repeatedly which is always kept on switched off mode. I also call up on the store numbers, which nobody picks up.

The new connection was supposed to be active by 9th.

In 10 days Tata Docomo is not able to verify an issue a post-paid connection, which has caused be serious cost implications as I had been recently shifted to Pune location and had been incurring heavy incoming and outgoing roaming charges on my existing number. On part of Tata Docomo, this is sheer negligence and utmost poor services for which I need a written explanation, refund of all the charges and compensation to the harassment and grievances caused. I would demand that Tata Docomo should either close their stores with such imbecile employees and should exit telecom sector.
