I had hired services of Mr. Sunil Kumar who is an authorized distributor of Vista Levolor at Patna for getting awning work done for the balcony at my Patna home.
I paid Mr. Kumar, Rs. 31,000/- as advance payment in September 2009. Mr. Kumar had inspected the place and had given assurance that the awning work would be completed in time.
However despite following up with Mr. Kumar for three months, he had not started the awning work. To my dismay, in January 2010, Mr. Kumar informed me that awning cannot be done at my balcony and promised me to return my advance money.
I would like to state here that only after pursuing Mr. Kumar, he finally paid Rs. 10,000/- in the month of April 2010. I am yet to receive my balance money of Rs. 21,000/-. I would like to ask here that why did Mr. Kumar confirm that awning can be done at the time of taking money and changed his mind later? This is least expected from a dealer of a company of high repute
As a consequence of deficient service and the repeated incompetency displayed by employees, I have suffered undue hardship and mental frustration.
I would like to emphasize that:
• He had grossly negligent and unprofessional in approach.
• I have undergone extreme stress and mental agony because of deficient service.
Given the above sequence of events, I request you to kindly refund Rs. 21,000/-. Additionally, I request you to compensate me for the extreme stress and mental agony he has caused to me.
