Name of company/service: samsung
I purchased a Samsung Wave S5253 on 18th of April 2011 from National Radio Products 1,Biplabi Ankul Chandra street,Kolkata-72.
Just after 2 months my phone had a problem in its 3.5mm jack.I would emphasise that there was no problem with the ear-piece the problem was in the phone’s jack.
I claimed warranty and they REPAIRED it but again after 6 months I faced the same problem.Then I came to know that this particular model is defective.The Samsung service personnel HIMSELF told me that if you insert ANY OTHER 3.5mm ear-piece in this phone then it will damage the jack of the phone and the company will not provide you the warranty.
So am I bound to use only Samsung 3.5MM
If yes then what is the use of having a 3.55mm jack?
He himself accepted that this model is defective and all the consumers are facing the same trouble what Samsung is doing is that if you face the problem during warranty period they are replacing the inbuilt jack,but what if the problem persists after the warranty period?
why should we suffer because of their defective model?
NOW I AM HAVING ANOTHER PROBLEM SOMETIMES MY PHONE AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHES OFF.
I KNOW THAT THEY WILL REPAIR IT WITHIN WARRANTY PERIOD BUT THE OVER ALL QUALITY OF THIS MODEL IS NOT GOOD AND AGAIN WHAT IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS AFTER WARRANTY PERIOD
Sir I deserve a replacement…please help
