Defaut in handset ( Touch screen)

I have purchased Sony xperia neo V on 1st may 2012 retailer in Thane.

Since last couple of days I am facing the following problem:

When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attempts to unlock my phone.

Similarly when I get a call, I am unable to receive it in one attempt.

i.e i have to make many attempts to drag the icon from left to right.

Also some times I need multiple attempts to bring down the notification bar .

Thus I am facing lot of problem while using this costly phone.

I tried to contact Sony on given toll free numbers but no response
Even my email is also unanswered

I am very much frustrated and hence lodging complaint .

I expect replacement of handset ( it is in warranty period) as it seems to be a major hardware problem.
