Dear Sir,
I am NRI and NRO account holder jointly with my Husband in Axis Bank DDPuram Branch, Bareilly. The bank is deducting a sum of Rs. 750 + Serivce tex by saying that this is for maintain my account. When I asked about this deduction by mail, they replied that my account have less than Rs 5000/- that is why this deduction is made and also wrote that this deduction will not take place in future if we will maintain a sum of Rs 5000/- quarterly. After hearing this we maintained our account more that Rs 5000/-. Today I saw my account and again there is showing a deduction of Rs 750/- + Service tax. I again enquired about this but this time they simply attach a paper stating the deduction schedule of Axis bank. This attachment is for NRI account not for NRO account, Howver they are deduting this sum from my NRO account. Please help in this. I am living in Germany and it is not possible to close this account from here. Please register my complain against Branch head and Manger (Sudhit Kumar, who wrote an email stating there will not be a deduction of this type of money if we maintain our NRO A/c more tha 5000/-). We want a claim of Flight ticket also from the Bank in case we have to be there at the time of hearing.
