I have purchased data card of Vodafone (Netcruise) no. 9137504860 from Vodafone Store, Gotri Road, Vadodara-390007 on 18th Jun 2012. I have choosen plan of Rs 750/- pm i.e. 4GB downloading with speed upto 3.1 Mbps and later unlimited with 144 kbps. this is mentioned in there printed brochure and confirmed by Store in-charge Mr Jabir.
Data card started working after appx. 48hrs of purchase but till date I am not able to get the required speed of downloading maximum speed I got only once is 1.9 Mbps and it remains in the range of 150 to 600 Kbps, which is far lower than then assured speed at the time of sale by Vodafone.
I have complained at store since third of initiation of data card, there Engg has come, checked & told that this is maximum speed we can can. Later I lodged the complaint at there call center on 8th July 2012 No. JUL 327. I have been told that within 36 hrs problem will be solved & there Nodal Officer Mr Hiren Gandhi can be contacted (Mob :9137255255) if required, which I have tried but he never picked up the phone.
On 13th Jul another Engg. from MTS (Vodafone has tie-up with MTS this service) has come at my house to resolve the problem and finally he has also confirmed that this is maximum speed I can get.
Now, Vodafone has sent the monthly bill to me and insisting on payment where as agreed service for internet is not provided by them. This is a case of misleading to customer i.e. Vodafone informing download speed of upto 3.1 Mbps but actually it is 150 Kbps to 1.9 Mbps. Vodafone is reluctant to take back the data card & refund my money.
You are requested please help me in this customer misleading case by Vodafone.
