Credit Note Lost | No solution | Hard earned money

Few days back I have returned some item against and pantaloons provided
me a credit note but unfortunately I lost that credit note.
I tried Pantaloons customer care no. many times but no one responded.
One day I was lucky that one of the lady customer care executive
picked the phone and on asking the solution for credit note lost She
said please contact the Pantaloons store they will provide you the
copy of credit note on the basis of few details as they have the entry
of the same in their records also.

But I don’t know what Pantaloons store executives think of themselves
when I informed the same thing to them they said they can’t help me
out in that and if Customer care team said you this thing then show us
in written. I was little surprised that what is this gap between them,
Are they not aware of the Policies or making fool of their
customers???? In both the ways it’s directly impacting Pantaloons
Customer relation. There are many stores available to shop like
“shoppers stop” , “Lifestyle” etc and they maintain the healthy
relation with their Customers.

But when it comes to “Pantaloons”, they Fail in that.

Its not the first time that I am facing issue with Pantaloons. Its the
matter of my money. And when one returns any product they provide
simple Paper saying Credit note which looks similar to Bill. And its
normal if any human misplace that Credit note as its a simple paper
not any card.

On inquiring they are saying that they can’t issue a duplicate credit
note since a the same is equivalent to cash and carries equal monetary
value. But can they please let me know where this information is
written on either credit note or bill. So that any customer gets aware and take
care of this.

If this is not written anywhere then how can you treat this as Cash.
Either you should provide a Card or online access of their money.

If pantaloons can’t re-issue the credit note then they should either
return the money at the same time or provide the card or some kind of
online record.
