Compressor gas filled instead of changing the capacitor

Voltas company personnel told me that they will fill gas in the compressor but actually next day they told that there is wiring fault and capacitor is not working….so why they filled gas in compressor when there is fault in capacitor….they want to get money via reason of filling gas……
