Dear Sir/madam,
I have purchased a Acer Laptop from M/s. Vijay Sales, Devarc Branch, Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 16th May 2012. During the purchase of this Laptop the Salespersons(Jigar) on the floor convinced me and sold a Laptop whose package was open(seal on the Carton box was open). On asking why this seal is open and when I further told him, whether this is a Used Laptop. He replied that No, this is not a Used Laptop and the seal is opened just 2 minutes before to show to a customer before my arrival into the store. Further he said, if there is any problem with the Laptop then he will change the same. After using for the first time I noticed that 2GB data(consisting of personalised Pictures of Vijay Sales staffs) were stored in the Hard Disk. Then after sometime when I started using the Laptop, it started misbehaving on regular basis. When I informed the same to Vijay Sales, they asked me lodge a complaint with Acer Service Centre. After showing it to the authorised Acer Service center, I got an idea that this is a used Laptop Then when I approached the Store Manager – Rushab Shah and appraised him of the situation and incidents and in turn I asked him to Replace my Laptop since I have purchased a New Laptop after paying INR 28,991/- . Now it’s been almost 2 months after several follow-ups physically also they are playing with me by saying, ” We are taking some decisions” but still no output on my replacement of Laptop has been decided. Now the whole story looks like they are buying time to just get over and wants to avoid my problem.
Also this entire incident looks as Fraudulent behavior to me.
Hence, request your good self to help me on this and take proper action to punish the culprit, so that no other consumer gets cheated while purchasing anything from this store. For your Ref. I am sharing the Delivery Challan No. 64-DEV05-12DC 175.
