I’ve a 6 Kg., ‘Digital’ brand, fully automatic washing machine of IFB purchased in Oct’05.
The M/C gave outstanding service for only two years and thereafter it has always remained problem-ridden. What upsets me most is indifferent attitude of authorised service centres whenever a complaint is lodged. Local service centre takes 2-3 days, sometimes even more, to attent to the call. Between 2007-2009 I had extended warranty with IFB, even then we had to experience extreme difficulties in getting the problems solved.
Since last 11/2 week my M/C is not working at all though service center has already charged me Rs. 1700 in the name of changing motherboard of electronic panel.
IFB customer care had given me the name of head of haryana circle (Mr. Sumit Sharma). Even after talking to him also my complaint remains unredressed. In fact he also sounded very indifferent to my woes.
Thus, even after sucking Rs. 1700 from me in the name of spares and another Rs. 300+ for service charges, a reputed company like IFB has completely failed to discharge its duties for its customers
