Dear Service Provider,
My mobile no. 9868486701 is registered with DND.
Of late we have been receiving discount offers from Crazeal.com (sender 53737) to which I have not subscribed. Also, from 2.6.12, every week I have been receiving sms from 53737010 deducting Rs. 10/- from the mobile towards renewal of weekly discount pack. I have received 3 such sms deducting 30/- till date unfairly. Kindly inform how can you arbitrarily deduct amount from my mobile when I have not requested you to provide any such service.
Further, I called your customer care no. 1503 to register my complaint. The attending lady was extremely rude sounding really bored. She kept insisting that I had activated this service through my handset and kept saying हमें कोई शौक़ नहीं है अपने आप service चालू करने का. (Poor Gandhiji must be thinking what happened to his saying “Customer is always right”). After much persistence, she said she had noted the complaint and the service would be discontinued in two days. On my insistence she gave me a complaint no. 09062012100228 dated 13.6.12. (If you record these coversations for quality checks, I would request you to go through the same).
Today on 19.6.12 I received another sms deducting 10/- again. I called up 1503. The lady informed me to send an sms to 53737 saying UNSUB METW. I did as told and immediately I received an sms from 53737 to sms the correct code (I am perplexed what this means). I again called 1503. This time the Lady told me that whenever I receive such sms I should not open them, as opening them leads to deduction of 10/-. I am again perplexed what this means, because the sms is just for information that 10/- has been deducted and how would not opening such sms help.
I have taken up the matter with Crazeal.com also who are saying that MTNL is doing this on its own. Kindly take action on the following :
1. IMMEDIATELY STOP THIS SERVICE AND DEDUCTION.
2. HOW CAN YOU SEND UNSOLICITED MARKETING SMS;S ON DND REGISTERED MOBILE NO.
3. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THE QUALITY OF CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE YOU APPOINT AS THEY ARE YOUR PUBLICE INTERFACE.
4. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE SUM UNFAIRLY DEDUCTED TILL DATE IS REFUNDED FORTWITH.
