This complaint comes forth against Nikashee Restaurant, D-85, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi.
The home delivery menu mentions the minimum order of Rs 100( no mention of km) and Rs 300 for CR Park, Vasant Kunj and surroundings ( no explanation of the same).
I ordered based on the menu and had ordered for Rs 350 from Arjun nagar, South Delhi( not more than 7 kms away. The restaurant refused to deliver if we didnt add another dish to the Rs 350 order. On wanting to understand why we were met with rude arguments. In speaking to the manager he requested us to understand his situation and apologised. We ordered but are disappointed and feel deceived by such printed falsities.
While the food is good, we feel that one they force people to order more and also do not advertise truthfully. They are using excuses like ‘it is uneconomic for us to deliver only Rs 350 worth food to you, therefore please add or we will not deliver’ and that ‘ our order taking staff cannot use their discretion’are not expected of the restaurants of this nature that are loved by people.
