COMPLAINT AGAINST AIRTEL SERVICES (Complaint no. 34193282)

This is with reference to the Airtel post paid mobile connection for which a SIM card had been given to me by Airtel on October 5,2010 with an assurance that the same would be activated within 24 hrs. After the expiry of one week and numerous calls to the Airtel customer service centre, it is appaling that the SIM card (for which Airtel has already charged an activation fee of Rs. 300), has not been activated even till now. The apathy of the Company and their unwillingness to sort out customer grievances each time a harassed customer calls them up shows that after levying charges to the customers, they take them for granted. The COmapny should either fulfill their contractual obligations within 12 hrs from the receipt of compalint or return the principal amount charged by them if not with damages,
