Sir,
I made a chalan worth Rs100 /- in SBI Infocty Branch Patia Bhubaneswar (code no-10133), (CHALAN Journal No-013069704) , DEPOSITED in Power Jyoti AC of SBI-31912001634 for Utkal Gramya Bank (post of Office Assistant Multipurpose on 03 oct 2011). Where as the SBI dealing clerk at Counter No 1 of the said branch took Rs 125 / – FROM me without giving me the reason for the extra charge of Rs 25/-. Though reported the matter to BM, who shown his helplessness and I had to pay the extra charge without any valid reason, even not mentioned in the challan form for what Rs 25 Extra has been collected. Like me there were many fellows who have paid that extra charge without any reason amounting a huge collection? Instead after argument he only written Rs 125 collected in the Chalan itself in an inappropriate place. Where that Rs 25 extra has gone is a matter of investigation.
I have kept the said receipt and will send soft copy if required.
So far we have not paid the so called charges anywhere-else in any other bank.
For what purpose the bank has collected Rs 25 extra for Rs 100 Challan from all the candidates?
