Name of company/service: Cleartrip
I purchased a ticket from Cleartrip on American Airlines for Rs. 71,000 in May 2011.
Due to a mistake on Part of Cleartrip, the journey had to be cancelled.
American Airlines Issued a Refund of $703 in August 2011.
Cleartrip has not issued me a refund ever since. Their agents promise to get back within 3 days and then disappear for a month. If you call them again, they say they are investigating.
It has been 8 months and they claim they are still investigating. Even CBI does a better job.
I am filing a consumer complaint but I want to use this to warn consumer to stay CLEAR of Cleartrip for any international trips.
Check out the response they send before disappering.
