The company Club Mahindra claims to be India’s best company with regards to the holiday activities but unfortunately this is not so. I took a membership with CM way back in Jan,2008 and haven’t been able to holiday even once because of technical reasons even though I have paid close to 50% of my due amount for the said membership.In fact I also took another membership to gift my relatives under the condition that in case this is not acceptable then I will get back the booking amount close to INR45000 ( as per their refund policy). Though I requested a refund via their call centre they did not refund me the same citing that I hadn’t requested the same via an email but I couldn’t have known this as I hadn’t yet received my documentation. The call centre executive also did not say anything to that effect either.
After numerous call and mails they finally agreed to refund (after 2 years) but that too after deducting the value of the RCI membership which I cannot use as the CM membership has been cancelled. I had requested them to adjust the outstanding to my initial membership and they agreed to do so initially but later did not comply with the same. Now I am stuck as neither I have my refund from my second membership nor I have been able to use the primary membership even though it is more than 4 year now. I have written to them to refund my entire money as I do not want to be associated with such a company which though professing high values is actually hiding under the garb of mundane wordings in the application forms. I would request the CM team to refund me the amount of approx INR 1,25,000 of my first membership and INR 45000 of my second membership ASAP.
Also let me caution anyone who is planning to go with CLUB MAHINDRA holidays regarding their policies.. they are CHEATS…
