I am Prabhat Chandra Father Of Ms. Bhavya Chandra, student of Junior KG, Saint Xaviers High School, Poonam Nagar, Andheri East, Mumbai.
I have given donation of Rs. 15000/- on 2 January 2010, towards admission fees for my daughter. Before given fees I have enquired every things about the fees and other charges.
I want to give complaint about the fees which was charged by the School Administration which was not into the actual educational service period.
Dear Sir, actually school opened from 18th June 2012 and new session starts on 19th June 2012 and 19th June was first day of my daughter in her school but the school authority charged for whole month as well as some other charged, which in illegally because We have not used services of that particular period and the haven’t informed us about that charge.
The cashier has taken amount of Rs. 4180 by cash. When I asked after getting the receipt about the excesses charge, She adviced to talk to Principle of School. When I complained about the excess charge including bus and other feess which was not used for whole month, I personally argued to the principle and told from 19th June 2012, my daughter became student of Saint Xaviers High School, Poonam Nagar, Andheri East, Mumbai.
He clearly told me this is the rule you can go a head and do whatever you do.
As I have tried to explain the unlawful practice to the school authority, but they are denying to solve my issue.
So I hereby request you to guide me that how can I go to consumer court for a proper complain.
