I had been having a landline number (0124-4260901) with DSL services of Airtel since last 3 + years at my residence wherein there have been times in past when they had raised erratic bills of Rs.3000/- + which is absolutely absurd. When tried asking them for clarification, they blame the user saying that the bills are correct. This is a practice which is prevalent in case of Airtel & Reliance. Nevertheless, due to inconvenience to my family I thought to carry on, but in the last month when I got a bill of Rs.3800/- + then I decided to either change the plan or get it disconnected. I sent them 3-4 reminders for disconnection of the service, however, they did not take any action on that and their meter is on to fool me around in the next month, which i can not bear any longer. Hence, decided to first go to consumer forum & simultaneously send them a legal notice before Airtel type unethical companies give a mental torture by forcing me to pay their dues as a fixed cahrges. Would be gratful to the forum, if it can take the necessary action against the company to stop building mental pressure on me by directing them to compensate me for the financial & psychological loss through which I have been going since last 15 days or so.
Moreover, due to the third grade quality of service of Airtel, we have also decided to opt for protability services to shift our all Airtel Numbers to some other service provider ASAP.
