bill has been raised while the connection was disconnected

Location/place: chandigarh

Name of company/service: tata docomo

i have received ebill for the month of apr-may12 of tata photon+ connection,while the line for my connection was disconnected during tht period n i was not able to use the internet. even though company is asking me to pay the bill for the period when i was not provided the facility to use the connection .so want a waiver of the bill of the above mentioned period .
