I had purchased a Beetel Magiq tablet on 7th Dec 2011. The TAb suddenly stopped working in the month of Apr 2012. It was not booting and not starting at all. Since the product was within warrenty I was eligible for replacement & hence went to their service center at Fraslin Tech Care Pvt Ltd ( Shp no: 3/13 , Hiton Co-op HSG SOC, Ram Nagar , Borivali w . ( ctc no; 022-32244043 ). My complaint was logged with call id: FT2-BM-12-0029832-DW on 18th Apr ’12 and was told that they will chk on the fault and get back to me.For weeks together I did not get any response from the service center. In fact when ever I would call the calls were not answered. Ultimately we got the Beetel Head office number from their website & spoke to Mr. Pravin Tamboli on 9892049958. We were told that currently they do not have the product in stock but within a week’s time we shall get the replacement. Since Apr ’12 , we are regularly & rigorously following on getting the replacement but everytime we are given next week’s committement, Few days back I got a msg from Mr. Pravin ( on my husband’s no. ) stating we need to return the box along with accessories to their service center wherein a DOA letter shall be issued with which we shall get our refund. When we went to the service center at Borivali as per the instruction ,we were told that they do not service Beetel products anymore & we will need to go to Mira Road for the DOA letter. We are extremely upset with this after sale service wherein a customer is expected to follow up for 3 months for a replacement of faulty product. When spoken to Mr. Pravin today he again gave the same old next week committement , when we insisted that we simply want refund of our money , he flatly refused that refund is not possible. We are extremely pained with this experience and feel cheated. We would like a strong action to be taken against this issue & resolution to our problem.thanx Neelam Mantri.
