Name of company/service: Airtel
I have subscribed to Airtel broadband and landline services. Due to their pathetic service, I requested to disconnect the telephone/broadband connection on 30-Jun-2012 after paying the outstanding bill. My cancellation request No. is 17994200/30Jun2012. When my request was registered I was told that within 48 hours of the request the connection would get disabled. I called airtel customer care several times after that as they have not disconnected my telephone connection. Also I was told that I will be billed till the phone connection works. I feel this is ridiculous and the company is cheating the consumers despite registering a cancellation request. I request the concerned officials at Airtel to look into this and live upto their responsibilities.
