Name of company/service: Airtel
I was using Vodafone postpaid and I received a marketing call from Airtel stating that they are offering a new postpaid connection using number portability.
A person from Airtel visted my place took the address proof and ID proof and activated the connection.
After that they disconnected the connection stating that my address re-verification has failed.
I called the customer service and informed that I am working and parents are in US and I will be available only on Saturdays and Sundays.
They never sent a person on Saturday and Sunday to re-verify the address.
On daily basis, I am speaking to the customer care and they are giving false promises and speaking to the representatives are humiliating.
They informed that, I have to take new connection with new sim and it will be activated after 20 days.
I am not able to port any other vendor and they informed until 90 days, I will not be able to port to other operators.
I need the connection to be activated soon and take action the company for giving me the mental stress.
I wish to make complaint against all the representative I spoke and the managers, stating that they give false promises and for are humiliating speach.
