I have taken a new Airtel DTH connection with the initial connection payment of 2640 INR paid on 14th June. However, no one has still called me for the installation. I have called the customer service 12148 at least 15 times over the last 5 days and every time an operator very conveniently gives out the same message that the installation team will call me in the next 15 to 30 minutes and the installation would be done that day itself. I am really frustrated and irritated at this deterioration in service levels from Airtel – a brand I am using for last ten years in different form. A similar standard response came from the grievance redressal wing within Airtel without any timeline on when the installation will be done. Absolute callousness …
