Airtel charging broadband bill inspite of getting the connection disconnected

I’d been using Airtel broadband and fixed line connection since last September. Since it was expensive, I thought of moving to another connection and asked for disconnection of my connection on March 30th, saying that next month onwards, I dont want a connection. I paid the bill for march as well. In spite of disconnection request, some 10-15 ppl called me at different times asking me for the reason why I’m moving. I patiently told each one the reason and asked them to disconnect my connection. They agreed to do that, but kept on calling me again. AFter some time, they stopped calling me for asking the reason. But then they sent me bill for April, then May and now are calling me to pay the bill again and again. I told them it is disconnected since March, they claim it is still active. I’vent used their services since March end. Its getting really frustrating, they refuse to disconnect the connection. And they keep on calling me again and again. In fact, I’ve asked them to delete my number from their records also earlier so that they dont call me, but they simply wont.
I sent them a mail saying I’ll complain to consumer court and yet they seem to take it lightly. So finally I’m complaining here. Please address my grievance as soon as possible.
