I had purchased an 4 OGeneral Aircons for my new apartment in Oct 2011, one of them did not have a remote, I received a complain sheet from the service engineer who did the installation, post which I have done multiple follow-ups but all went in vain. I had escalated to the service manager, he also did not respond positively. I raised the issue with Ratna Fan house, where I had purchased them, they said they are not liable. I am not sure who is liable for a new aircon. After paying nearly 50k INR, i don’t have an aircon remote to use the system.
