Name of company/service: Whirlpool of India Limited
Through this mail I would like to bring to notice to all concerned, that I and my family was subjected to harassment and unpalatable abuses by the service personnel of Whirlpool of India Limited, named PINAKI MONDAL.
I purchased a Microwave oven on 3/6/2012 and on the same day lodged a request for demo for the product on Ph no. 1860-180-4558. They noted my phone no. and for a second reference my father’s phone no. I was made assured that the service personnel will be visiting at the time of my convinience, after fixing an appointment with me on phone.
I received the sms Stating the Satisfaction Code(?) and SR No. which was supposed to be given to the Service Personnel after getting so called satisfactory service.
On 4/6/2012 Mr. pinaki Mondal called on my father’s no instead of my no. where he was supposed to call. He was very rude and abusive and stated that “If you want the service you have to take it today, there is no other choice.” My father requested him to come when I will be present personally at home, but this person was adamant and abusive and insisted on coming on the same day. As there were no other choice my father agreed.
On his visit Mr. PINAKI MONDAL were very ill behaved and abusive. He Stated that “This is your sheer fortune that I myself have come to your place, you should be thankful for whatever service you get.” He hardly gave any proper demonstration and left the place within 2-3 minutes. He was only asking for the Satisfaction code.
As the satisfaction code was with me and I was not present at that point of time, my parents could not give the same to him, this made him turn aggressive, and he started to hurl abuses and also threatened my parents.
In the evening Mr. Pinaki Mondal called on my phone and asked for the satisfaction code very rudely. As I was not aware of his visit to my place, I requested him to call after some time, so that I can return home and check with my parents.
This person started sending unpalatable abuses as SMSs on my Fathers no giving us bad names and hurling lewd abuses. These SMSs were sent from ph no: +919330820653.
when we dialed ph no.: 1860-180-4558 to state this incidents, the Customer Care Executive stated: “Only tell me if you have any technical problem with the product” and snapped the line.
MY QUESTION IS : IS THIS HOW A REPUTED COMPANY LIKE WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA LIMITED AND THEIR SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL ARE SUPPOSED TO ACT? THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SUGGESTS THAT NO ONE SHOULD BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY… AT LEAST TO SAVE THEIR SOUL FROM THE ROWDY SERVICE PERSONNEL OF THIS COMPANY.
I will be expecting to hear from the TOP MANAGEMENT of this company and will be looking forward for appropriate action against MR. PINAKI MONDAL.
