Sir, my father is a retail shopkeeper and so we get a lot of coins everyday. My shop’s current a/c is in Canara Bank, Dalsinghsarai Branch. And, when we go to the bank to deposit money(notes and coins both,with coins in small quantities) they don’t accept it and send us back. The earlier Branch Manager was good as he accepted coins also. But, these days we are facing many problems. We pay our dealers in cheques, and if the bank doesn’t accept coins, how shall we pay our dealers and how will India become cashless?
