Worst Service

I purchased a phone via snapdeal. Specification of phone as mentioned on the website looks promising but when I received the phone and used it for an hour, the battery drained fast from 61% to 23%, the battery is poor. Moreover the quality of the phone is lacking in WiFi connectivity and camera as well.The main problem is battery factor and since it has just started to show the problem, I raised a return/refund request on the same day of receiving the package(received on 24th July 2016 and Complaint requested on the same day). Because in future I do not want to go round the service centers.

After raising the request I got a ticket ID no 26880195 and a pop up appeared on the screen as below :- We will call you from 01166786500 between 9am – 12 pm tomorrow.. i.e. expecting a call today on 25th July. But I have not yet received any response. Now it is a harassing time for me as I purchased this phone for my Papa, specifically for a good battery backup.

Now I want to refund this item as requested on the same day totally dissatisfied with the product I received and would go for other trustable brand.

Kindly response me and initiate the refund request. When I ordered this phone I got it deliver at a quick instance but after that I have been mentally harassing by the non response and delay of service. Its like a normal practical slang for INDIAN consumers that when I am purchasing something at that time I am god for the shop owner and after paying the money; no concern and then the shop owner becomes everything and consumer depends totally on the hands of the shop owner. Please National consumer forum intervene in this matter. My friend who lives in America says that; there the rules and policy for the consumers are very strict and in case a consumer is unhappy with a product even after a month of use can request for a charge back at any time and gets the refund with the interest amount. But there is no such policy herein INDIA. I want to raise this complaint against snapdeal, it is a first gift that I gifted to my father however instead of a piece of happiness for me, this time purchase of online thing become a harass for me with the customer service that snapdeal offers. Homeshop18 is far much better in customer service and snapdeal should learn from them.
