VODAFONE FRAUDULENT CHARGES

for 8 years my 2G services were free and as soon as i changed to 3G services they billed me 650 INR for 2 G usage. i had to email many people nd vodafone services for this ( SEE THE EMAILS BELOW AND RESPONSE AS WELL) So after a long conversation they mentioned that 2G services which was free for me for 8 years was a mistake happened by vodafone and since i asked to change the 3G plan their eyes got opened..this is bullshit..if my services which were active was a mistake then they should have let me know before hand or stoppped it long time back or atleast should have charged from next cycle..

BELOW IS THE EMAIL I SENT TO VODAFONE

vodafone and their analyst cheats the customer by giving wrong info.
i called customer care on 29th December to activate 100 INR plans for 300 MB and for which now i am being charged extra 650 INR..why is that ?

i called the customer care again and the analyst tells me that i am being charged for the entire month’s usage.! now why the hell is that and why the HELL the analyst did not tell me when i asked to activate 300 MB 3G plan on my number ? why am i being charged for 2G usage for before the plan got activated i.e 29th Dec 2014

1. i was never told by the analyst that it would be like this when i asked if i would not be charged more than 100 INR for the 3G plan

2. my number comes in corporate account and 2G data usage has always been free for my number and now being charged of that is truly a scam and i would not accept it and not pay the bill unless this is cleared and also leave the vodafone services and raise a complaint in the consumer court for being cheated by Vodafone and surely post in Allscripts,Mphasis other social media forms to discourage everyone and tell the Scams held by Vodafone services to full scale.

BELOW IS THEIR ANSWER TO MY EMAIL

Dear Mr. Hora,

Thank you for your time to explain your concern regarding bill clarification for your Vodafone mobile number 9923450817.

At the outset, we regret the inconvenience caused to you.

We refer to your telecon with our colleague Bhushan earlier today and hereby reiterate that, the charges of Rs.676.12 towards the GPRS usage @ 4 ps/10Kb have been correctly levied in your bill dated 05/01/2015 as GPRS usage have been initiated from your Vodafone number post deactivation of data pack i.e. on 12/12/2014.

However, as a special case we would be happy to waive off 50% (Rs. 338.06) of your GPRS usage. We request you to kindly confirm the same via return e-mail to us, so that the needful can be done at the earliest.

In case you need further assistance, please do call or email us. We’ll do our best to help you.

Happy to help

Rajshree Gunjikar
