I am Vinayaka Hegde Vodafone Postpaid Customer in Bangalore using 2G data plan VMC_VL 99_2GB.
Vodafone has charged me RS 262/- including in bill for downloading shotformat_dwnlp_9 99 rs and animation_download 15 and shotformat_dwnlp_9 99 rs and wapvilla_ppd 49rs
a stuff which I had never downloaded. When I called their Customer Forum for explanation, they had no proper explanation. My contact no. is +917406133888

I am Pankaj Kumar Vodafone Postpaid Customer in Pune and same happened with me as well, they charged me Rs 49 for wapvilla_ppd and I don’t know why?
Every time vodafone charged me more and more.
My current plan is 1299 and my bill comes around 1500.
So, I guess its better to switch to other network provider. -
My number is 9718939080 and plan E_Connect_375.
In my current bill 28.5.14-27.6.14 generated on 28.06.14 Vodafone has charged me 79 Rs for Rs 49 for wapvilla_ppd and Rs 30 for hello1_tvallsouth_ I don’t have any idea what are these.
I called customer care on 198 on 3rd July 2014 from my number, but the representative could not explain what are these applications and neither take my complaint.
Vodafone is cheating people. Please take corrective measure immediately.wapvilla_ppd -Rs 49

vodaphone is not giving satisfactory reply of what this wapvilla_ppd download size is and how they have charged even though i have a 2GB data plan active for my number -
They have reverted my charges when I complained on the Corporate Care email after few emails and I told them that no way I will pay the charges and will move from Vodafone.
But , in next month bill July 2014, the same charges are again.

We have been charged for unrealistic disclaimer by vodafone..We need to complaint this to ” TRAI ” to have this notice and refund to us asap..

I am also having same problem…Vodafone charging me for a download at a premium rate without even knowing for purpose this is being charged….I believe Vodafone does not have any right to charge from customer, unless customer openly accepts such charges through consent…also it means that the Vodafone and the content guy who is doing such non-sense activities must be having underlying agreements for revenue share….These things we should bring to the notice of Government bodies and regulator for immediate arrest of such things…we should remove the licenses of such operators, who are looting the customers making customers ignorant….this is nothing but clear fraud by the operators..

Again this month also, Vodafone charged with some download charges with Zero bytes download…earlier i complained and they are giviving a evasive response…agains this month also charged for something which i never authorised them to charge to my monthly bill….this is really rediculous….how come when TRAI is regulating these telecom companies, however, they are escaping the purview of TRAI and imposing unscrupulous charges to customers…..Someone has to initiate action against these operators by bringing out severe punishements.

Again in this month bill I have been charged Rs 15 for downloading d2c_astro_v****** .
While Vodafone reverted my charges 3-4 times earlier, this time they are not reverting the charges.
I have kept all TRAI ids’s in To ,but Vodafone has not revert my charges.
Also, no response from any of these TRAI ids.
I have sent email to Nodal officer and appellate id

Let’s see if there is any correction.
