UTMOST CARELESS HANDLING & GROSS DEFICIENCY IN SERVICES TOWARDS MY ROOT CANAL TREATMENT ( TEETH NO. 46 ) & CROWNING/CAPPING BY Dr. N.RAMPAL CLINIC,E-564,GREATER KAILASH –II,NEW DELHI 110048
Dear Sir,
I was referred by my ECHS(Ex-servicemen Contributory Heath Scheme )Lodhi Road ,New Delhi Dental Centre on Oct11 vide for root canal treatment of my teeth (46) at Dr. N.RAMPAL CLINIC,E-564,GREATER KAILASH –II,NEW DELHI 110048.After 15 days of completion of root canal treatment, I was again referred to Dr. N.RAMPAL CLINIC,E-564,GREATER KAILASH –II,NEW DELHI 110048 for crowning of teeth No. 46 & 45 both.Crowning/Capping was done and I was told everything is fine now no problems absolutely.
After 15 days again I got pain in right side of my teeth & I avoided eating from right side of my teeth as far as possible and I thought it could be due to some other teeth involved and used pain killers, saline water gargling & mouthwash four times a day which relieved my pain temporarily. But its frequency continued increasing and the pain started coming up in a week time and I was not able to eat freely from right side of my teeth & preferred avoiding eating from right side of my teeth as much as possible .
Eventually I showed myself at AIIMS –Dental Facility on 28.01.12 where x-rays were taken and I was shocked and shuddered to know that the root canal treatment done at Dr. N.RAMPAL CLINIC,E-564,GREATER KAILASH –II,NEW DELHI 110048 was inadequate and I was further referred to AIIMS Conservative Dentistry and Endodontic Clinics with appointment on 1.03.12 for re-root canalling of teeth (46) ,meanwhile I took pain killers, saline water gargling & mouthwash four times a day to mitigate suffering due to pain acuteness and avoided eating from right side altogether as it was very excruciating pain on that side.
I showed 1.03.12 at AIIMS Conservative Dentistry and Endodontic Clinics and they saw x ray and declared that inadequate BMP +Obturation & fractured instrument in root canal of 46 .They further said that they will intervene only in emergency as there is a chance that the tooth may fracture during extraction of Crowning/Cap and even it may not be possible to save both 45 & 46 teeth as they are crowned /capped through a bridge in between .They advised Pain killer, saline water gargling & mouthwash four times a day which relieved my pain temporarily and I continued to avoid eating from right side of my mouth. They emphasized that I must show to ECHS Dental referring authority who made payment to Dr. Rampal Clinic and also to Dr. Rampal Clinic who committed this blunder by grossly violating protocols & standard guidelines established for this treatment .
On June 12 ,I went to ECHS Lodhi Road –Dental Dept inturn they asked for fresh x ray which is done on 3.06.12 and report says :Partial Obturation in root canal of 46 & prosthetic crowns in 45 & 46& acute infections .
This blunder, cavalier attitude & derelictions has been done by the clinic which boasts/ has tall claims of being honoured with ISO 9001-2000 & VSM from president of india which further compounds & requires investigation as to how this certification is awarded to such reckless & irresponsible medical fraternity .
I request your kind heart to please probe this case profoundly & take sternest action against this clinic on my following grievances owing to casual attitude ,gross negligence ,pathetic services & flouting the established protocols with impunity :
1.Very high possibility of fracture occurring in both my teeth 45& 46 while intervening in case of unbearable pain / emergency
2.Almost unable to eat from right side of my mouth since last six months
3.Undergoing acute pains and sufferings frequently
4.Other teeth like no 45 also developed obturation due to this
5.Adverse effect of overuse/dose of pain killers on my vital organs, overall health and life expectancy
6. Expenses incurred in seeking medical treatments frequently due to the same
7.Over exposure to radiations in the wake of undergone & still undergoing multiple X rays which has rendered me vulnerable for fatal diseases including cancer
