Hi. I’m using reliance GSM. Earlier i used to get customer service calls regarding caller tunes. I would just disconnect them. Then i would receive a message stating that i got charged for the caller tune. I would call the customer service line *333 talk to a rep, get charged for 50p/3mins, and get my amount refunded. I was informed to contact 198 if i had any similar issues. Then i activated my DND service and awesome, i stopped getting CS calls and never got charged for caller tunes. Life was happy. @but reliance came to know that i was happy. Hence to screw my happiness they opted for a very trendy way. I started gettin messages like this:” Amount Charged for VAS One97 GSM Rs:20.00.

Current Main Balance : Rs:35.00” on 18/9/2012. Each time i had to call the 198 number or *333 number to get the amount refunded. I really greatfull that they are immediately refunding my money but i’m also frustrated about why did they charge me in the first place. If i did not notice these messages they would have simply kept me charging. I’m really upset about this issue bcoz even after all these interactions they are not able to resolve my issue.WHY AM I GETTING CHARGED FOR SOMETHING THAT I NEVER ACTIVATED? This is a serious issue. And on top of this one of the rep i spoke with even told me that i’m not the only person having this issue. Just imagine if out 1 lak customers only 10 report this issue and get the amount refunded, then what about the amount that no one has ever asked refund for? I want to know how can i file a consumer case on reliance for there irresponsive and non satisfactionery resolutions. Please help….
