Today I received a call from a person from delhi court information cell bearing number +917503528745 @12.00 hrs informing me that there is a case filed on my name in delhi court (file number TN420/13 DC) and asked me to speak with mr.Rc Goutam ,an advocate and gave me his mobile number +91 9716217691.
I dont who this guy is and i’m not aware what for this complaint is.
I too received the call asking me to contact Advocate RC gowtham. When i contacted him ,he said I have to pay the bills for reliance broadband which I used 3 yrs back
I also received the call from 88802337851 , asking me to contact RC Gautam on 09716217691. Luckily i read your post and i remember I used Reliance which i disconnected. One month after disconnect also they sent me bill which i clearly said no.
Today(24-09-2013) i have the calls from 8802371975, 7503718071.
They says to calling from delhi high court Investigation Department. they ask the Non billing payment for my mobile No: 7667734555. But I can’t use this number for last 1 year. But they threatening to me. If I not paid the bill payment. They will take the legal action against me. They says to speak their lawyer Mr. R.C.Gowtham. I Speak to him. But the lawyer name not listed on the Delhi High court lawyers Directory. But Still now I haven’t Received any notice from the Reliance Communications Regarding non – billing. So Please any one help me for this issue.

Yes, i got this call almost daily asking me to pay for a Reliance Data card which i surrendered to their store. I was keep on saying them that i surrendered it. They behaved like mad, repeating the same sterio type dialogue. I could not avoid their call and changed my mobile number even :(. Surprising fact is they called my new number also, i was shocked, because i updated the new number only with HDFC bank. I guess, HDFC is disclosing the new numbers to Reliance, Ambani brothers are so influencial it seems, i am scared, now there could be chances that people may take out money from my account too. I should change the bank now 🙁 and the mobile number too, in order to avoid this kind of non-sense calls, instead of wasting this many calls and lawyer fee, the amount unpaid as per their record is Rs.825/- which is the bill generated after my surrendar date, unfortunate this is, since i surrendered 6 years back, i dont have any papers relating to that.

Is it afake call or what i don’t know .

i too got this call Last month, i kept ignoring and changed my number, Last week i received a Legal notice from Chennai consumer Court. They have now summoned me in the court when i dont remember even using any such Reliance number. They have specified a court room and time to report tommorrow, plz advice how to stop this Legal action now as RC Gautham is not ready to help now, he says this matter is in court now and says i bounced a cheque long back. I contacted an advocate here for help he says i should pay this small amount of Rs 2700/-.
I Also received calls from this rc gowtham advocate whether he is a true one or not.
A lady kept calling me from(8802216624) she even used abusive language and threatening me that she would make me to come to delhi to stand in the court and pay 20000 for 2065. i dont even have to 2065 as ive never used reliance.the only thing they did was install the modem and it never worked from that moment.I dont know wat to do pls somenone help me with this issue.
I too received a call from this number and lady spoke to me.
She mentioned that there is a notice from advocate RC Gowtham and was trying to confirm my address. They also mention about the case in Delhi High Court and blah..blah..blah.. I frankly don’t know any of the names of people the lady mentions, and I said that and the matter ended.
I think these people are a fraud racket and trying to fool innocent people by getting them trapped. Dont share any of your personal or contact details. Somehow they also know your name. I’m surprised how they get these details. May be they have a database to steal personal information and use it. Be careful. Even if you speak to them tell them you dont know what she is talking about and mention that you are not aware of anything, and tell them that they have the wrong details and number. They are just calling random people and laying a bait to trap you in to their net. Be careful. If you are not sure just cut the call and end it there.
I received call from 9643161186 asking me to contact R C Gowtham for a case file no 208/12. I did not have any reliance connections but not sure how they got their number.

I just simple ignored it’s fake call to trap and collect some money.

I m suspecting its a fake call to collect money.

I too received calls from these 2 numbers +91 96-43-217972 & +91 96-43-217768…claiming to b from Delhi consumer and speaking in a very intimidating tone saying that a case has been filed in Delhi consumer court and I should contact a certain advocate Yadav for details..they gave me his number +91 7503-526401..his staff spoke in a very rude manner claiming that I have not paid some reliance amount regarding some broadband connection..I disconnected my broadband reliance connection over 3 yrs ago…and have no unpaid amount…this is a scam by reliance themselves…trying to cheat their customers…and from the previous comments..reliance and Delhi court is common…that’s no coincidence…this is 100% reliance scam..
I have received a call from these numbers 9643217972 & 9643217768 threatening me that a case has been filed against me in delhi consumer court and i should call advocate yadav 7503526401 for further details…i called him and he spoke to me in a very threatening manner informing me of some unpaid reliance amount and failure to pay that amount of some rs 2000-3000 will result in legal consequences in delhi court where i ll have to pay 20,000 as damages….i had a reliance broadband dongle over 3 yrs ago and there is no unpaid amount in that…this is a clear scam by reliance..100%…all the previous comments has reliance in common… this is no coincidence…reliance is behind this scam for sure…dnt fall for this scam….coz no court gives u a summon over the phone and then tells u to call an advocate for details…if u have a case filed against u, u will receive that in writing….if u have such problems always google search it and u ll find out whether its a scam or not…here itself numerous comments prove its a scam by reliance…
i got a call today from delhi court. A lady spoke and she told me someone has filed a cheating case on me and i should contact advocate yadav for further details. i called him and said to pay like what other people told in the previous comments. i dont know whats happening and why are they doing like this? what would they get by doing these fake calls and asking to pay the amount.?
I too received call from staff of Advocate VS Yadav from Delhi High Court, a lady gave me his contact No. He told me to pay my aircel bill, which was disconnected by me 3 years back, i guess reliance and aircel have hired this advocate VS yadav for recovery of there bills from innocent customers, they were calling me again & again so i went to aircel ofc and cleared my bill of 1035/- but today aircel hv sent me a legal notice again for that bill on my adress i will sue them now as i hv the receipt with me
I just recd a call and sms from a Lady(her mob 9643217971) who happens to be staff member of DELHI CONSUMER. She told there is case under 420 filed against me in Delhi consumer case ref DL419/15. She has no details of the case, wanted me to talk to an advocate Virender Singh Yadav and his mob : 9643217972. Initially I panicked, but then i took time to search on google and landed on this page. Since, Truecaller suggested me this number to Spam.. I blocked this number and switched off my mobile for some time..

I also received a call from this numbers 9643218029 and 9643179539.. Same story filed case in Delhi consumer court No: DL919 some thing like that..
My Story: I brought Reliance pro 3 which advertise to get 14.2 Mbps but I expected at-least 2Mbps.. its not even 50 kbps and many time disconnected. So I decided to terminate it . Jan 5th is my billing date, So I chatted with customer care on 6th Jan requested to terminate the connection. And 13th Jan received call for termination the did some marketing work for not to disconnect but I am not accepted. She said around 300 rs I need to pay I am ready to pay the money. Next month I got the same amount of bill RS 1200 .. after I called to customer support the said still you not disconnected from our service so you need to pay the bill. so many complaints I made via a Call, Chat and mail but No response, Put in hold and make me get tension. Very very very worst service.. Never go to reliance for internet 🙁

I got call from one number and he said we are calling from dls pvt limited thane Delhi …he talked with me very rudly and saying they filed cases on me in Delhi court …he said first you contact to R C Goutam he is advocate ..he also same manner of pronounce he scared me a lot ..your amount pending in captial first …pay full amount other wise police will come to your home …i sacred and I payed 15k …again next he said pay more 10k late charges cheque bounces and toutred me …What to do any one suggest me pls

I have received a call from +91 7827998514. The man said that he is calling from Delhi Court and there is a case filed against me in Delhi high court. He asked me to call to Advocate R C Gowtham with the number +91 8285275599. He refused to tell more about the case since he is a government advocate.
Actually no one is advocate and nothing to worry about it. All are the Telecallers of Reliance, Tikona and other fraud companies.
To be frank, if someone files the case, they need to send a Notice asking you that why don’t we file a case regarding this issue or so and so. then only they can file a case. without your personal knowledge court won’t take the case into account unless otherwise we refused to answer the advocate notice.
Leave them, mark them as spam call. Don’t attend the call anymore. Feel happy…! You are in India so it is our fate to get these kinds of threatening.
Today I got call from this number 8459411720 which shows number as District court delhi, The person defined herself as anjali sharma calling from delhi police & said that they have got a case filed against me in police station in delhi with the file 603. Further she asked me to contact Mr.R C Gautam ..I called him , when i asked him to tell me details he took few minutes & said your name is so..n..so with birth date so…n…so, but when i asked what is the case he talked rudely with him, finally i told him do whatever you want.
I want to know is this consumer forum helping people to get rid of this people & is delhi police taking any step reagrding this? Did anyone get help in this regard from any specific department?
