Sub : The Tour Operator “Ghose Special” Travel Agency Kolkata Cancelled Schedule Tour Programme without any Intimation.
Sir / Madam,
This is to inform you that the Kolkata based Tour Operator “Ghose Special” has cancelled my pre-booked
Schedule Tour Programme after four months of it’s booking without any Intimation.
I , booked a Package Tour for my family on 23/05/2016 for North India Tour with the “Ghose Special”
Tour Operator, 34 Strand Road, Room No: 9, 2nd Floor, Kokata-700001, Govt Reg No. 91276.
The Schedule Date of the said package tour was 13/10/2016 (13-October-2016) during my Puja Vacation. It
was a 12 days package tour Covering Varanasi, Agra, Vrindavan, Mathura, Delhi, Haridwar and Mussorie.
The said package tour was booked for 4 members of my family including me at the rate of Rs 12,000.00 per
head.
The said Travel Agency “Ghose Special” is operated by Mr. Manik Ghosh (Mobile-9231707847) and his son
Mr. Avishek Ghosh (Mobile-9831676449).
I paid Rs 10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand) by cash to Mr. Avishek Ghosh as an advance booking on 23/05/2016 for
North India Tour at my Father in Law’s House at Belgharia, 35-SBRC Road, Aurobindanagar More, Kolkata-
700083 where Mr. Avishek Ghosh came to collect the advance booking payment. After that the Travel Agency
send me the agreement paper to my Father in Law’s House by Trackon Couriers Pvt Ltd, Consignment No.
491253126 on 31/05/2016.
I usually use my Father in Law’s House address for communication with the Tour Operator as it is very
close to proper Kolkata and I remain far away from Kolkata, at Bongaon, North 24 Parganas.
The schedule purchasing date of the Five Train tickets was on June-2016 by the Tour Operator as it’s the
norm of Indian Railway to buy the train tickets 120 days / 4 months earlier of the departure date.
The total number of Train tickets for whole of our tour was five (5) as mentioned in the Tour Operator’s
Tour Itinerary .
I started phone calling to Mr. Avishek Ghosh (Mobile-9831676449) from the 1st week of July-2016
requesting him to send me the Scan Copy of all of my five Train Tickets at my E-mail ID
[email protected] .
And right then their suspicious fraudulent activities started. I have made more or less 25 calls to Mr.
Avishek Ghosh (Mobile-9831676449) from 1st week of July-2016 to 03/09/2016. Every time whenever I call
to Mr. Avishek Ghosh, to send me the Scan Copy of all of my five Train Tickets, he gives me either some
excuses or promise of giving me the same after next day.
And in this way he spent almost more than two months without giving any kind of intimation of
Cancellation of Schedule tour programme. I have record all of Mr. Avishek Ghosh and his father Mr. Manik
Ghosh phone calls as he is a big fraud.
Finally on 03/09/2016 he give me 3 PNR Numbers out of Five (5) Train Tickets without giving any kind of
intimation of Cancellation of Schedule tour programme. Wen I check the 3 PNR Numbers I found that the
departure date is on 17/10/2016 with the Waiting List Train Ticket. The three PNR Numbers out of Five
(5) Train Tickets are 6656766155, 6253898805, 2219815614.
My Schedule Date of Departure was 13/10/2016 and which is mentioned on the agreement paper too.
Now the travel agency is totally denying to make the Schedule Tour Programme on 13/10/2016.
I have not got neither the soft copy nor the hard copy of my Five (5) Train Tickets till the date.
THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE FRAUD CASE. THE SAID TOUR OPERATOR SHOULD BE EITHER COMPELLED TO MAKE THE TOUR
PROGRAMME ON THE SCHEDULE DATE i.e ON 13/10/2016 OR PUNISHED, REFUND THE BOOKING AMOUNT Rs AND
COMPENSATE ME FOR DESTROYING MY TOUR PROGRAMME.
As you know, it’s not possible to make a new tour booking or to buy the train tickets right now for the
schedule tour on 13/10/2016 as it is too late to do the same.
I’m giving the Agreement Copy of my tour schedule herewith.
PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

TOUR OPERATOR FOR THEIR FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY, ASK TO REFUND ME THE BOOKING AMOUNT Rs WITH INTEREST AND
COMPENSATE ME FOR DESTROYING MY TOUR PROGRAMME.
