Hello Sir,

I have purchased a prepaid sim card of idea on 15th December 2014. I bought it from authorized idea cellular shop here at Morbi, Gujarat. The person there asked me to pay 100Rs. for that sim card. However later I came to know that the MRP is only 5Rs.

So I asked that idea shop person about how he can charge me more than MRP. His answer was: “This charge is for activation of sim card. I can give you a card for 5Rs. but it will be of no use since I have not activated any scheme in that.”

My reply: “If I don’t want any scheme. I will do normal recharge”.
Idea shop person: “Sim card will not be activated unless you pay 100Rs. to me.”

I want to know more details on this. Also if that shop owner is cheating customers then I want to lodge complaint against him. Idea Cellular should take necessary actions against this shop owner as soon as possible because many customers are being cheated.
