SUPPLY OF DEFECTIVE AC

I purchased through online shopping portal- Shopbychoice.com one air conditioner of Panasonic Model No. Panasonic Cube CS-ZC15MKY on 26.05.2012. My online shopping experience was worst. The stabiliser delivered was not of the brand(V Gaurd) asked by me . When i enquired this from the delivery boy, he said that the stabiliser supplied carries life time warranty. Therefore I did not pursue the matter. Later on the installation guy visited the house for installation. The Installation guy told me that the wire set supplied with the AC was not of sufficient length so we need to purchase some additional wire from him. I asked him to measure and tell the exact length of wire required. He told me that only 3 foot additional wire is required. I agreed to pay for the length. But while installation was on he informed me that 13 foot additional wire was required. I enquired from him how come the length of additional wire got changed when he himself after measuring suggested the additional requirement. I called up the shopping portal guy and he somehow convinced me to pay for the wire. He also told that some person will visit from panasonic to see that the installation was proper or not. No guy ever turned up to my house. The ac supplied was defective which got confirmed after installation as the indoor unit could be turned off with the remote but the outdoor unit was to be manually turned off by turning off the power supply switch. I on noticing the fact immediately called up panasonic customer care and lodged the complaint. Firstly the complaint was closed without any response. Then I again lodged the complaint but none bothered to attend the complaint. I also wrote to customer care. The service engineer attended the complaint but he worsened the existing situation. Now the ac’s outdoor unit gets turned off automatically after few minutes and there is no cooling. I spoke to customer care but none bothered to attend the complaint. Then I wrote to customer care and they promised the resolution and said that Ghaziabad branch head Mr. Mehrajuddin will get in touch with you in this regards. Again the same service engineer was sent who had earlier worsened the existing situation. The service engineer on his visit washed the outdoor unit with water after opening it from the top. He informed me that there is no problem now. I told him then and there that still there is no cooling. But he said that it takes some time and asked me to sign some form as he has to visit n number of places for repairs. He left the place in hurry. I called him up and informed that there was no cooling and he said that he will come. But he never turned up. On the same day I again lodged service request but none has bothered to attend the same.
