Service not Provided! Money Already Taken from us!

We had purchased an airtel dongle for an internet connection. These guys came home and took the required documents as well as the money which was a sum of INR 2000. All this happened on a Saturday (08/11/2014), and we were told that our services would be activated by Monday (10/11/2014) end of the day. It is Thursday (13/11/2014) today and nothing has happened up till now! It seems that the people who were supposed to come for an address verification went to some other residence instead of coming to ours. The people responsible for this goof up are the people sitting at airtel who gavee them the wrong address. Now our connection won’t get activated until an address verification happens. We have to go to an airtel store and get our address verified, when they should be the ones looking into this and rectifying the error made on their part! This is how big companies take money and don’t provide the promised services! This is how companies like AIRTEL show us how a telecom provider they are! This is preposterous! I recommend that no consumer approach AIRTEL for an internet connection, because they will take your hard earned money and leave you stranded with no internet connection!
