This is regarding the the offer made to me by Bijis Hotel privilege club offering membership for 1 year with some fake benfits (i dont know why do you call this a privilege club at first place as i was treated like a third class member). I am writing this email after facing several issues dealing with the people managing this membership GIVING ME FALSE COMMITMENT from the very beginning. Also, need to bring this to notice of Bijis hotel who were being represented by Mr Vishal and Mr Mayur Luthria. After i made the payment of R 6999, all the below mentioned issues have cropped in
1) I was sold this membership which i brought on basis of 2Nights stay at Bijis any day stay (including public holidays) and 1 vouchers of 2Nights stay free at Treasure Island Resort free of cost. I have tried to book rooms at Bijis at 3 occassions (have proof of email sent) almost a week in advance each time however every time it has not been accepted. On last occassion, i had called Mr vishal on 10th of August, requesting to book for me 2Nights for 17th to 19th August (a week advance notice) however he requested me back stating instead of taking 17th checking, please take 19th checkin (Sun checkin) for which i have my telephonic conversation recorded. I agreed to his request for 19th checkin and he said he will send me a confirmation email in 24 hours which was not sent. SInce i had to travel abroad, i returned on Thursday 16th and called to confirm but he said the booking is not done and asked me to go 20th Aug 2012. I was being dictated when to go if i want to avail this offer. Secondly when i tried to book Treasure Island offer, i was told to contact them directly. When i contacted them Directly, i was told that i have to pay another Rs 2100 for 2Nights to Treasure Island which was nowhere mentioned in the attached offer email sent to me at the time of selling me this membership. These 2 are clear cases of MISSELLING and FALSE COMMITMENT!
2) I was sent my membership kit almost 2 months after i made the payment. I have track emails where i was dissatisfied by false commitment (an email was sent to you as well earlier). Mr Mayur then had called and told me he is sending me the refund however instead of sending me the refund, he sent me an additional Treasure Island voucher (again this voucher is only a gimmick as stated above as one is require to pay additional Rs 2100 amount). I accepted the voucher because that time i didnt know about this additional charges.
I have invested rs 7000 on a holiday but i have suffered on account os MISSELLING and wrong commitment. Now when i called Mr Mayur for a refund, i have been told that i could have refund only in 15 days of this membership. This is a pure SCAM where i have been tricked into. Once a customer makes payment, then he is forced to take booking only on the dates the management wants or forego the money he has paid. Mr Mayur has even told me once i can go to any consumer court i wnat but i cant do anything. I request you (the consumer redressal forum) to take this case up and take strict action on account of losses incurred by me as i have paid this amount more than 3 months back and the mental agony i went through dealing with them.
