SBI Credit Card Blocked After Full Payment of Amount Outstanding.

My SBI Credit Card was blocked immediately after I cleared the entire amount outstanding. I contacted the Nodal Officer but the response was very disappointing. Below is the response I received:

“We would like to inform you that we are unable to process your request regarding reactivation of your SBI card account as desired by you.

We understand the disappointment, which may have been caused to you in this regard. However, we would like to share that our business decision was taken in good faith and is in no way indicative of your credit worthiness.

Please feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance or clarification.”

The above response makes no sense. In fact, it is a contradiction in itself.
I have no inclination whatsoever to contact them again, but I would like to know exactly why they have refused to reactivate my Credit Card.
I wonder how many customers have suffered similar fates.

    This is Regarding Fraud Happened to myself..
    The Account Holder of Dawrpui Branch , Mizoram in SBI
    Receivers Account Number in SBI : 20177879416
    Receivers Name : Robert Lalrampuia
    Amount : 127,600 INR

    This Person has cheated me with Fake Documents of Immigration and Fake Visa.
    I have FIR in Police also.

    I have sent NEFT Check Payment to the Account Holder in Dawrpui..but this Payment will be transffered in Monday Monrning 21-April-2014 , as i Have tracked the NEFT Transfer Number

    Request u to Cancel/Hold the Amount in this account so my money can be saved.

    My Account Number in Bank of Baroda is : 07550100017546
    IFC Code from Which I have sent the Amount through NEFT is (IFC : BARB0VALLAB)
