NOT REFUNDING WRONGLY CREDITED PAYMENT

I HAVE PORTED MY PHONE NO #9831325341 IN MARCH 2012. I HAVE COMPLETED ALL FORMALITIES WITH AIRTEL AND PAID SOME EXTRA AMOUNT ALSO TO COVER THE UNBILLED AMOUNT DURING PORTING THE NUMBER TO VODAFONE. I USED TO PAY BILLS THROUGH HDFC NETBANKING, SO THE NUMBER WAS REGISTERED IN HDFC. UNFORTUNATELY THE BILLER NAME AIRTEL WAS NOT DELETED FROM HDFC AFTER PORTING, BUT NEW PROVIDER VODAFONE WAS ADDED. THERE WAS NO ISSUE IN LAST 2.5 YEARS. BUT UNFORTUNATELY IN DECEMBER 2014 THE PAYMENT GOT CREDITED TO AIRTEL ACCOUNT(RS.880/-). NOW WHEN I ASKED FOR THE REFUND FROM AIRTEL THE AMOUNT WHICH HAS BEEN CREDITED BY MISTAKE, THEY ARE MAKING DIFFERENT STORIES AND NOT REFUNDING THE AMOUNT. MY VODAFONE NUMBER HAS BEEN DEACTIVATED DURING THIS PHASE. I AM SUFFERING FOR A REASON WHICH WAS NOT MY FAULT. I WANT ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL AND GET MY MONEY BACK. PLEASE HELP.
