Not getting Airtel 3G speed

Name of company/service: airtel

I am having airtel 3g dongle with number 8295219470, which was working properly with good 3g speed but from 22 march 2013. I am unable to get the previous speed.

I had recharged with Rs449 For 2GB data with 3G speed. I was very happy that Now I am going to use airtel 3G speed but….
not a singal day I don’t get 3G speed. I had registered my complaint having no. 1595081. I discuss with customer care executive. But they were unable to solve my problems. I have been calling customer care since this morning and the solutions they told me where not helpful. And due to a call per day i can’t get in contact with customer care. Please help me out. My contact no. is 9315754847.
Now what to do it already two weeks are over.

    now i am gonna port all my airtel no to docomo,
    i lost my 750 rs. thats not a big amount bt i lost trust from airtel now.
    i also told my friend to port there no and never buy airtel sim,
    even Customer care didnt respond to my call. 🙁

    I have recharged for 449, 3g speed – 2gb data.
    It’s about 15 days and I am getting only 10 kbps speed. I have launched CS complaint but no use. Cs told that they will send Mr the settings but haven’t received till now.

    I am very much dissatisfied with AIRTEL.

    I was also activated with 3g offer , initially I use to get perfect speed. Suddenly what happened I dono speed is completely reduced. Showing on screen shows ‘h’ but when I open any browser or marketplace for downloading speend is changing to 2g. I raised complaints regarding this airtel service several times. Problem was not found and rectified. Past 20days im still facing the problem. Please check this problem seriously if many people are facing it.

  11. I am facing big problem same as other Airtel customers. There is no way out. I recharged my no with 155 rupee and was getting 3G speed but since last two weeks I am suffering with low net speed. My 3G speed is even less than 2G. I am contacting customer care trough relation outlet because I am unable to connect to customer care from my mobile. There is no compensation too as I am told by the customer care executive. Airtel sucks. Got better service from idea cellular and speed too. Friends do switch to idea or Vodafone. My mobile number is 9971093510. I want my money back or same plan with 3G speed for free because my money is totally waste as I am not getting 3G speed.

    Dear All Airtel users,
    Please do not trust this service provider as I had a terrible experience with their stupid inexperienced custome care “Senior” staff “Mr. Vijender Singh”. When I recharged my phone with the 3G plan of Rs. 102 for 300 mb from their mobile airtel website.. I was getting only 8kbps instead of promised 900 kbps from airtel customer care. Despite so many complaints there has been no resolution and even promises were made that i’ll be refunded. Here are the complaint numbers:

    29th April 2013: C3GSP30429487611

    01 MAY 2013: C3GSP30501321131

    03rd MAY 2013: C3GSP30503182317

    NONE OF THE COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN SOLVED!! I AM STILL GETTING ONLY 8 KBPS DESPITE PAYING FOR THE 3G PLAN AND THEY TELL ME THAT ALL COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN RESOLVED !!Hate Airtel!!!

    I strongly suggest please benifit yourself from number portability..I’m moving On… So long Airtel.. May you loose all your customers!!!

    I am using 3g network in my 4G LTE dongle in udupi,Karnataka.Speed was good untill Feb 25,2013. I was getting Up to 4MBPS speed. But After Feb 25,2013 speed got reduced suddenly (Below 750KBPS) and connectivity issue also. Spoke to customer care and Nodle Officer couple of times . But they are not interested in resolving any of the issues.
    The reason for slowness as per one of the customer care rep is “Before Feb 25,2013 airtel had a tie up with vodofone and now not. Thats why they have a poor 3G network in Udupi. But as a cusotmer i have already paid 2500/- for dongle and i am paying monthly rental 1200/-. Even then i am not getting the good service from airtel. I’LL surely take this case to the consumer courts on account of cheating.

    Is any airtel representative listening out there ?? I was having grt experience using airtel 3G on my dongle (21.6 Mbps) till 2 days back , was getting speeds upto 5 Mbps ( HSDPA/Download ) in Darbhanga all of a sudden speed is in Kbs maximum speed which i am getting now a day is just 50Kbps sort of . Please help me why this decrease is airtel waning out ??? My airtel 3 G dongle sim only number is 9955571284 . My contact number is 9852737954.

  19. I have an airtel simcard no. 8452804235. I have done 9gb 3g recharge but it is giving only 5 to 10 kb speed. My sim is 64k . I have complained 4 to 5 times but no response. Please slove my problem.

    I too had the same problem. The i tried some experiment. I succeed with one. The method is to deactivate 2G(using *567#) and then deactivate 3G (using sms 3G to 121) and then after sometime reactivate 3G zero rental plan (using sms 3G to 121). This won’t lapse ur exsisting 3G balance. This worked for me. You can also try it. Do drop a reply if it works.

    i have been using airtel since 2011 and its gives a good speed but since 15th june’13 it has been worse…i recharged of 1255 for 3g in airtel dongle no 8670259740 and i have called customer care more than thrice and they hang up on me now…this is really frustrating..they are not able to solve my problems…and my net is very very slow..very disappointed..never again going to buy an airtel connection..AIRTEL SUCKS BIG TIME…i should have have gone for other networks…like vodafone..and then u send me messages like the problem has been resolved..it hasn’t..worse network ever…for more complains contact me at [email protected]

    Hi am using airtel 3g on my micromac canvas hd 116 but it’s not working since i have taken this service from last month, don’t know why it’s not working it’s running as 2g speed. i talked to customer care that fool aslwas go to setting and enable 3g that’s all he knows.. what do i do..?
    i wasted my 250 rupees on it..
    i can see no body reply the customer from airtel.. it’s showing their status…

  28. i have recently purchased post paid 3G sim with number 9818860508. i have got a post paid connection with a tariff plan of Rs 650 with 4 gb data.
    The 3G service is hardly working and most of the time it switches to 2G data transfer.
    You are requested to resolve the issue.
    This is the first billing cycle of my connection, in case if i will not get the 3G speed, i am not going to pay a single rupee to Airtel.

    My Airtel number is 7387223454 and I am having trouble using Airtel 3G. I have already raised a complaint and complaint number is 51669526 on 14th July but still my problem is not solved.
    I am facing problem that after connecting I am seeing Page not found message. I am using Mozilla fire fox. Speed is also very slow. Frequently I got disconnected.
    This is really serious issue and Airtel has not provided me a solution. I think Airtel 3 G service is not good so please do not use Airtel 3G.

    Many Airtel Customers have expressed frustrations, and disappointments about VERY VERY SLOW SPEED of AIRTEL 3G connection. Nearly one and half month over since I bought my Airtel 3G Dongle (GSM) and connection (SIM NO-8130628543), my god ! I am telling you people very frankly, I have not browsed with good speed even for one hour to my fullest satisfaction. Many times I have taken this to the notice of the customer care, NOTHING BIG HAPPENED ! Certainly I am a victim of its advertisement tricks ! I f I had read other complaints made by other customers of Airtel, surely I would not have gone for this service. I do not think , Airtel is going to resolve my issue. I think Airtel has no such a thing called 3G technology yet!: I think, it calls 2G as 3G !

    Same issue here in Delhi as well, I am sick of calling customer care and every time, a unsatisfactory resolution , 3G speed is limited to 300 kbps and signal strength is also very low or even it disconnects from HSDPA.

    IF airtel is not able to provide seamless service in Delhi /NCR, how can it provide to other states, It has it first network started from Delhi itself.

    I am now will no port out and I can see Reliance is offering very good speed in 3G and at lower cost.

    Airtel really sucks… Not recommended for 3G connection.

    I have recharged my two numbers one 9631696028 with rs 455 for 2gb 3g data and another 9572648302 for rs 251 for 1 gb 3g data. Even after that I am not getting 3g speed , speed is fallen form 3 mbps to less then 100 kbps .

  46. I did a prepaid recharge for Rs 449 for 3g data for my SIM
    It really sucks with a speed of hardly 20 kbps.Not even a single day
    it gave good speed.
    Most of the time it disconnects in between.Its really horrible it
    happens all days and all times of the day.And worst part is I each
    time I disable data some amount is deducted in amounts around 20 -50
    paisas each time.Very well done.

    Is it a legal cheating or hidden cheating from Airtel ??? I had a very
    bad experience with my airtel broadband -speed ,connectivity and even
    for resolution. I disconnected it and moved to try mobile
    internet.And again the same crap. Now clear about problem is with
    provider and not type of connection.I’m sure about the result of this
    issue.

    I too had bitter experience with Airtel. I am really fed up with their service and their cost. Now they have increased the cost. There are lot of other option available other than airtel which provide competitive service at low price. We consumers are the fool who are paying high for such service. Just move on to other service and say a good bye to AIRTEL. They are looting us like congress…

    I am using airtel postpaid ( 9741821370 ) for last 3 years and i have been activating and de-activating 3g data on and off for couple of times due to poor speeds. My network is flipping from EDGE -> H > H+ all the time. i have a very good signal reception in my area.

    Airtel – please resolve the issue ASAP.

    my Airtel (delhi-NCR) no. is 8527055260. Yesterday I made recharge of Rs. 199/- for 2GB 2g Internet for my Moto G mobile use. But now I am repented why I go with airtel 2g as internet speed is TOO slow. Even fb is taking long time to open. Why ?

    i usually recharge for 751/- plan. for wich am getting 5gb +1gb extra 3g free for 28 days..
    in dat i am getting only around 100kbps speed.
    it really hate to use 3g airtel nowadays.
    Airtel simply make some show to grab all the customers to use 3g and they cheat us..
    really their customer care end are Deaf i think. they wil simply say they raised a complain against this issue and after that we won’t see any response or issue resolved..again and again this problem wil continue.
    and more over they silently increased all the rate packs without informing..
    and also they reduced the validity to half.
    Its highly intolerable man..!

    I am getting less than 2g speed even though I recharge my number with 3g pack. I am always in 3g network but the airtel data service is very bad. Maximum download speed is 5 kbps. This is simply wastage of money. Please solve the problem.

    i have recharged my mobile with Rs 655 0f 3G ,but since from 23 of Octobar my net speed has been reduce to 100 Kb/s. Earlier i used to get 1.2MB/S .So anyone help me to get rid of this!

  64. Friends i requested you not to take airtel i have taken 20 gb plan but after crossing limit they gave me only 4 kb speed and after. Throttled i did not use net but they still charge extra 500 rupees from me plz airtel solve my problem and speed is very less i requested you to solve everybody issue othewise idea 4g is coming and your customer will go on idea 4g

    Hi Airtel presence!
    My name is Tauseef Ahmad i was a jio customer last month i was ported it to Airtel after port I was experienced very good data TR about 3mb/s but unfortunately after frw days one of network tower of my area was not worked but since 14th august 2017 the tower might fixed and my phone showing 3g/H+ again but the there is something wrong with it because the data TR is just 10kb/s I talked with customers care junior and senior both but they failed to resolve my problem. One of your exicivtive said that there might be some error with your sim card please swap it. I did as he said but the problem still remain. I feel like I am thuged coz my 84 days unlimited calling 1 gb/day data going waste please help me as soon as possible
